This should give her plenty of games to pass Barbara Stevens and Pat Summitt. She'll need Geno and Tara to pack it in within the next year or two before she could make a run at them as well.

I'd be surprised if she makes it until the end of the contract at age 78 without stepping down first.

I would be surprised if she coaches five more years. This was the year for them with Guirantes a senior and then adding Diamond Johnson and they lost in 1st round to BYU. Hard to see them matching this years team talentwise in the next couple of years. Haven't been past the first round since 2015

It's hard to transition when your head coach is a living legend. But CVS once had RU as a perennial top 10 team, and now they're a perennial top 40 team at best. At this point, it's up to the administration to decide what level of success they are willing to accept in the women's basketball program.
