Puyol making his FG's and XP's. He is still good 45 yards and in. Which, with this offense, he's going to have lots of 40-45 yard attempts.

Special teams coverage. UConn has been very good getting players down field and wrapping up returners.

Creating TO's. 2 INT's and one fumble recovery. 30 points was more indicative of offense's poor play than the Defense.

Newsome and Max. Time to go with the Nutmeg backfield. RJ still can't pick up blitzes and Marriner dropped the one pass that came his way.

Agree. Puyols, Manco and Boyle impressed on FG's. Makes the decision not to try and tie Mizzou look odder than it already does.

I have to give Diaco and co. credit. Special teams was an obvious area that needed immediate attention, and they cleaned that sh.it up.

All backs are having trouble picking up blitzes and putting solid blocks on those guys. Max had two last night where he did not so much as get a hand on a guy let alone block him. Look at int deep in our zone blitz came on side he was on and he was more interested in being the check down option than block the guy who applied unabated pressure. Bryant made a bad decision but max did him no favors on that play and a few Others. Strategy should be blitz uconn regularly and make them Prove they can beat it.

No question Max needs to be better coached on his protections, but I like him back there with Newsome.

We were still tied when most of the country went to bed. The last image they saw:

4th quarter

UConn 10
BYU 10
