They are leading Gonzaga in the WCC championship game by 14 with 81 seconds to go.

Creme says they have to get the automatic qualifier to get in since Gonzaga is already in.

It's been a great game... on ESPNU

Just started another thread about the same thing. Would love to see BYU's 6-7 center Hamson play against Griner. Griner more athletic but someone that can match her height could be fun to watch.

Beat Gonzaga 70-40 earlier in the year. Came very close to beating Duke at the beginning of the season. Could be a very dangerous early round game if they played inspired.

More power to them, as long as they're bracketed somewhere else. Is there any chance of a recurrence of 'the Sabbath problem' for BYU this year?
.

The Zags get a nearly guaranteed at-large bid. How is BYU knocking them out of the tourney?

The committee explicitly considers this and is supposed to make sure they only play on Sat/Mon sites. And ever since the men's bracket messed up on this a few years ago, I'm sure this is high on everyone's list of things to check.

Their not! Creme says the Zags WILL get an automatic bid. BYU had to win to get in the NCAA.

I was certainly pulling for BYU. Glad they pulled it out

Could be bad news for Tonya's Temple squad.
Right. Dayton is blitzing St. Bonaventure right now on ESPN2, 18-5. But I think Dayton and Bonnies are already in, regardless of who wins this game.
