Carl,
I take no pride in being right on this one. Sadly, it's just time.

Make don brown the head coach.

The defense was bad tonight. Ok. They had a bad game.

Which game was the offense's good game?

Your saying name Don Brown head coach for the rest of the season right? Naming him head coach next season would be a major mistake, we have to start over, whole new staff.

Wasn't it that time we scored 35 on Umass???
You're kidding right? Right?

We had 14 points on defense and special teams and couldn't manage a 100 yard rusher against UMass

I'm sure you are kidding but it was worth putting that out there.

Yes, rest of season. See how team responds, specifically on offense. We have to start over anyway. I say give brown a shot and see if the guys play hard for him. See if he can find a new OC.

Unless coach p is willing to can GDL.

Want to be even more depressed? Check out their schedule

Everyone but Miami OH scored 37 or more on them. That includes WMU, Ohio, and Indiana.

We were the only team to shut them out however.

A few weeks back I got it from pretty good authority that the players (basically to a man, all veterans on offense) believed if Foley returned OL coach and Day called the plays, there wasn't a team on the schedule they couldn't beat.

silver lining?? ugh Don Brown needs a hug. It has to be killing him to see his great D losing it's fire week by week and be dependent on GDL and PP for a lifeline (i.e. an functioning offense).

I believe it, too. I'm sensing a Varsity Blues situation coming on.

I agree. I have no pull whatsoever in anything, but I do remember when John McNulty was at UConn, and I think he'd be a great guy to pursue, to come back now, as a first time head coach.

Negative rushing yards on the night?

FIred.

So basically, what we've been saying all year
