Bye week came at perfect time

Our team will be rested with two chances for a signature win that will make us bowl eligible. The staff gets an extra week to prepare, the opposition is coming off a tough game. We can do this.

While we absolutely needed the week off, I think the jury is out on whether a team coming back from an off week is sharp or not.

Having said that, you couldn't design something as more of a trap game for Houston than this is. They are coming off a dramatic, come back win in their biggest game of the year, are looking ahead to a game next week that will be bigger than that, and are flying 1000 miles and a time zone into what for them will be a very cold day. Other than it snowing ....
