The 9th biweekly edition of the Boneyard Top 25 poll is approaching.

Ballots are due to me, via private message, by 11:00 a.m. ET on Monday, Feb. 24. (If you don't know how to send a PM, let me know in this thread and I will PM you first.) Ballots should reflect all games played through Sunday, Feb. 23.

A few rules:
  • Early ballots (before all poll-relevant games have been decided) are accepted if accompanied by contingency instructions any potentially ballot-impacting upsets.
  • Full ballots (of 25 teams) are encouraged; short ballots (of at least 10 teams) are accepted.
  • No ties are allowed on a ballot. Each team on the ballot must have a unique ranking.
As an aid to voters, the results for BY25 teams since the last poll of Feb. 10 are shown below, along with the games still to be played this weekend. (If you see any mistakes, please let me know and I will correct.)

And the AP poll ... and the coaches' poll ...

There is the inconvenient fact that DePaul beat Northwestern in their own gym.

three months ago. They haven't done much of anything since.... while Northwestern has been trending up since then

DePaul has nearly run the table in one of the toughest conferences in the country. NO NIGHTS OFF :p

If Northwestern were in the Big East they would have at least 2 losses by now

You jinxed them Plebe
Ha I actually expected this game to be trouble. Nova is like the ASU of the Big East, a perpetual thorn in the side of better teams. This game in a way reminded me of Nova's 2003 win over UConn, everything just fell for them.

But you know what they say: No nights off in the Big East! :D

I say this every time.... but THIS weeks BY Poll will be interesting with all the carnage that took place today.

Seriously. Shall I just throw darts at a dartboard blindly and see where everyone ends up? Ooops. South Dakota is #1, and Nicholls State enters at #25, narrowly edging out Duke. I might need a new methodology.

Ballots have started to roll in. Deadline is in about 12 hours, at 11 a.m. tomorrow.

Just a note: This will probably be the penultimate poll of the season. How time flies...

Against my better judgment I advanced the mid-majors to the brink of the top 10. I don't think any of them probably belong there, but power conference teams really struggled pretty badly.
