Happy New Year! As we approach the start of conference season, we're delighted by the chaos provided by Illinois, Utah, Oregon State, Harvard, and so many other teams out there. We hope that you've all had your share of holiday tournaments to enjoy and that you're looking forward to the stories that have yet to be written this season as St. John's attempts to keep their surprising undefeated run going. Admittedly, this poll had a lower turnout; however, Undersized and I both have been distracted this week by things going on in the world -- and we'll endeavor to have more interesting tidbits for you in the future! @triaddukefan will be ecstatic that Duke is finally ascending to their rightful place in this poll; meanwhile, North Carolina, Iowa, and Indiana were all punished for dropping winnable games. Middle Tennessee garnered their first votes in recent memory and we're on our way to an exciting 2023 with questions about how long Ohio State will dominate the Big 10 and whether Utah is the biggest threat to Stanford's supremacy in the West.
