7 minute mark to hear Hurley discuss Bouk. Does not sound very promising.

To me it just sounds like a Covid thing where they can't access top quality specialists on the road, not anyone they trust anyway, so they can't put Bouknight at risk.

No way he plays against DePaul. Once they get back home from the road trip they’ll probably run more tests and examinations on the elbow over the week.
Just hope he's back for Xavier (1/20) or Creighton (1/23). Until then we have DePaul and St. Johns. We can win both of those without Bouk.

He originally was going to play today. They are being extra careful, and now with a break after DePaul, I think it makes the most sense to rest him Monday. UConn went home after the Marquette game, so while I don't know if he saw the UConn doctor in person, she certainly is aware of what is going on.

Why don't they just send him home now then...why wait to have him looked at.

I thought the exact same thing actually. Would be great to get some clarity soon.

Then you're putting him on a plane with the general public during COVID...

Maybe I worded that wrong, I was actually thinking why he came on the road trip if there was an issue with meeting with more doctors, not that they should send him home. Makes me think he came on the road trip because there was a chance he could play. So, I stand by that this is just soreness he’s dealing with.

It was keep him with the team, adhering to protocols, or risk putting him around the general public on a commercial flight. They weren't gonna just leave him in Milwaukee. School is out of session, they're doing a Milwaukee->Indy->Chicago->Storrs trip, not going back and forth each time.

I know the COVID catch risk for him, all things considered, is low, but there's really no harm in keeping him with the guys.

This is actually incorrect and where the disconnect is. UConn went home after Tuesday’s game at Marquette, so my point was, if it was bad and needed more testing, I assume he would have stayed home and not flew out again for Butler and DePaul if there wasn’t a chance he may play.

Correct.

And he was evaluated by the team orthopedic surgeon.

Do you honestly think that they don't know what is going on with the elbow? I'm sure they have a course of action in place already. As for clarity, you can figure that one out by how he is dressed on the bench.
