Butler Debut Tonight?

I think it is a bit of a misconception that Butler has not played Basketball in a long time. Every day at practice she plays against Stewie or practice players. No, it isn't timed or there are no stats --but she is playing. From all that is written and by Geno's words--practices are harder and longer than games. So she should be fine when she starts, no learning curve.
I too am anticipating Natalie Butlers initial Uconn game.

Playing and practicing can never be compared, no matter how hard the practice or how weak the opponent is. One can help the other for sure.

Had a golf weekend partner. I beat him regularly, every week, month after month. even gave him a couple a side.
I even beat him when we played for a few bucks.

When the club championship comes around, he either wins or beats me by half a dozen strokes.

Lou and Collier played for years team USA and practiced for weeks with UConn. Yet, their first few games here, they acted like it is a new thing to them.

Geno, the restaurateur, would not serve a wine ahead of its time and he will apply the same logic to Natalie. Better too late than too early. If Natalie channels Dolson, that means Stewie will be roaming more and I don't know if they practiced that strategy enough yet. But we will find out soon enough!
