Shocking ???? What are your thoughts ????

PS - Seton Hall is now playing for the # 3 seed in the Big East Tournament , in their game tonight against St. John's (who would have thought that the Pirates would/could end up being the # 3 seed, ahead of DePaul when the season started - How AEH has helped changed this Seton Hall Team)

Butler has become an offensive juggernaut in the past 2 weeks. They shot 54/46/91 today!

This was at DePaul. Got to believe Butler staying close with UConn for 16 minutes helped their mindset.

I guess Creighton's narrow victory over bottom feeder Georgetown helped their mindset when they went up to Chicago and knocked off Depaul in their next game. Perhaps Depaul isn't as good as most of the the BY thinks.

DePaul's leading scorer Sonya Morris (18.4 ppg) did not play. It was reported she is out with an injury. That fact alone leveled the playing field.

CHICAGO – No. 25/23 DePaul ran into a hot-shooting Butler team on Monday that put a damper on Senior Day as the Blue Demons came up short 86-81 at Wintrust Arena.

The setback left DePaul with a final regular season record of 14-7 and 11-5 in the BIG EAST while Butler finished at 3-16, 3-15 after shooting 54.1 percent from the field including 45.5 percent from three-point range. Can you imagine if UConn had lost to an "unranked" conference opponent? The BY critics would have grilled Geno and the girls like a steak.

Sorry, but if UCONN played Butler without Paige, they would still win. A Top 25 Team should be Butler with ok but their best player

Agreed. By adding the comment that Morris did not play, I was not suggesting that UConn would lose to Butler under any conditions. I was "speculating" on the boneyard's reaction to a UConn loss to an unranked Big East opponent, and merely used Butler as an example. UConn is clearly the class of the Big East. Anyone of UConn's starters could sit out, and UConn would still beat any conference opponent. Too much talent. Someone goes down, someone else steps up.
