Anyone else see the undergrad b-school rankings? Anyone else more than a little disappointed? #72, down 7 spots from last year. Behind UMass, Bryant, JMU, Fairfield, PC, BGSU among others. This is one area that I really think we need to up the ante. I don't see why there should be any barriers to getting us in the top 50 by 2020. I admit I'm not a b-school grad, but I feel like this is an area we're just dropping the ball. Thoughts?

UConn B school is interesting, it caps the number of entrants and requires its students to maintain a 3.0 or above to stay in. Everyone i know from UConn business school has landed a great job out of school but I do wish there were more opportunities for more students. Business and STEM are critical to UConn's future academically and Herbst appears to understand that

In the 90's. most felt the undergraduate SBA program was underrated with respect tot eh pool of Professors that we had; but, the building at the time was a dump.

Since Business is such a popular area of study, UCONN really needs to make this a focus are for improvement in ranking.

This really is a must do.

And late 80's as well. I'm an '88 grad. It had some really spectacular faculty back then. I can only wonder if the weakness in Hartford's business scene has had an impact.

We were still producing productive alumni that work in NYC. Something doesn't add up here. It's quite obvious the university is emphasizing other schools more than the School of Business in plans outlined for the future.

I graduated in the mid-90s and look back and can't believe how much insight they taught. I got in the year before the minimum GPA for admission went up to 3.0.

72? I think there are preschool daycare centers rated higher. Thought it might explain the lack of business sense by some of the posters in the Cesspool.

I'm a 1984 SBA grad. I thought the business school was one of UConn's strengths. Is this ranking an outlier or is this typical?

The SBA needs to be one of UConn's top priorities. Business is not like puppetry; it's a huge part of the university.

Professor Norgarrd! I think it was rated better In the 70's? The Pharmacy School use to be rated among the best if not the best in the country and that has slipped quite a bit. The Ag college was pretty good too.

Pharmacy had a pretty good reputation when I was there in the early/mid 80's.
