Interesting. I'm currently in the process of getting a group of students to road trip to this game so this helps us a lot.

Do they still play in that stadium that makes Memorial Stadium look like Gillette?

What's a group consist of? If you get 100 students to that game I'd crown you king of UConn.

I'd be impressed if 100 students got to a HOME game before kickoff AND stay for the whole game!

We have the same problem with our students. They arrive in the second quarter and they leave in the third.

Since students get their tickets for free, there should be some type of stipulation where the ticket is invalid if you enter after a certain time.

Seems to be an issue everywhere. I read something last year about Alabama students not going to games. If you're a student and you're not going to go see Ala-friggin-bama, then it might be time to give free/student tickets to alumni and season ticket holders!

Giving it to our alumni wouldn't do us any good either....most of our fans are about 15 minutes late on a consistent basis. It's annoying when you're there on time and you have to get up every 3 seconds in the first quarter as the late fans are trying to get to their seats.

I don't know how bad it is at UCONN but it's pretty bad at RU.

It seems as though UConn and RU have the exact same fanbase. We have about half capacity at kickoff, then it fills throughout the 1st quarter and the loudest the stadium will get is in the 2nd quarter. Then, at halftime, it seems as though many fans forget that we're at a football game and either empty out to the parking lot or loiter around the stadium to the scoreboard area to socialize. It's been this way for years. So frustrating for fans like us who have hoarse/no voices before halftime.

Has a visiting team chosen to go INTO THE STUDENT SECTION to start overtime at RU? Temple did that at the Rent last year...and was successful. I felt bad for the hearty dozens of students left for the beginning of OT because you know full well Steve Addazio pointed and laughed at our (lack of) student section before the coin toss. That was an embarrassing for our dawg pound.

I don't think we've had any visiting teams in the student section recently. The visiting section is all the way on the other side of the stadium so you really need to make an effort to get there. I feel bad for our visitors since they placed the cannon directly in front of their section....the thing goes off all the time hah.

Typical RU fan. No grasp of the point.

Does forcing us to look at that stupid helmet mean you plan on sticking around? Why?

Is anyone else sick and fracking tired of playing Buffalo. It's like they're a conference foe we play them so much
