We ALL know the drill: While all beers served will be discounted, the only beers served at this tent will be those of InBev (Anheuser-Busch, Modelo, etc.) Corporate sponsors demand their "pound of flesh"...
I wouldn't drink Budweiser even if it only cost a buck.

you are on a deserted island with no fresh water and you havent had a liquid to drink for 36 hours - do you feel the same if a bottle of Bud washed up upon the shore?

My wife and I and some friends did a Budweiser brewery tour at the end of the tour we sat down and they gave us like a half dozen beers each, which seems like a guest host liability issue but I digress. I took a sip of each one looked at my wife and said I've never seen so much free beer that I was unwilling to drink. It wasn't good.

Very cool. Whenever we drove through the area to visit relatives, I remember the stench too, then again there were a lot more oil tanks back then that contributed to the unique malodorous air.

I don't mean to downplay the brand to anyone who likes it, but I can't stomach it. I like my beer dark.

No Jersey boy cares what you say about Bud! Whatever your days activity was, whether it was construction on your home, cutting down trees with chain saw, going "down the shore", Voting for President, it always started with going out to get a six pack of Bud.

Could hear the NJ Turnpike from my bedroom window........ahhh Joisey!!

As an American, I was roundly chastised a few weeks ago by a Czech tour guide for stealing the name 'Budweiser" in the 1890s. I did enjoy a nice Budvar.

The Anheuser Busch Brewery in Newark and Pabst Brewery in Irvington were about 5 miles from each other. Had relatives who work(ed) at both. And yes never liked the malt smell along Route 1.

In Europe they still call it Budweiser, the American beer is labelled Bud over there.

The Czech version is one of the best beers in the world.

When I was at RIT you knew if someone drank Genesee Cream Ales the night before. It had a distinct aroma. We called them Genny screamers.

When Adolphus Busch came to th US ~175 years ago, Germany as we currently know it didn't exist (long story, I'll get to it later if necessary) and a section of the then Austro-Hungarian empire (in modern Czech Republic; then ~75% Czech, ~20% German speaking, er~5% other) was famous for their beer (Budweis was the German name for the town, Budweiser would be German, referring to someone from Budweis).

As Busch was primarily trying t o sell to the large German immigrant population in that area of the US, he chose Budweiser as a name that they would associate with a good beer.

Under the Soviet block, then Czecheslovakia turned the local breweries into a state run business, sold in East Germany under the German name, elsewhere unf]der the Czech name. When the Iron curtain fell, they started distributing it as Budweiser throughout Europe. US Bud (Anheuser Busch at the time) sued, and a settlement was reached where it could be sold as Budweiser in Europe (with the American beer sold as Bud) while everywhere else, they needed to use the Czech name.
