Good to see the Big East is getting closer to the possibility of 6-7 bids. Most of them will be weak bids (11 seeds) but its good to get to the tourney anyway. In addition to the units $$$ it is also good exposure for the league

SJU has Georgetown and Seton Hall has Depaul Saturday.

Both should win. If we beat Providence, they'll finish 4th/5th and then play each other in the opening round of the BET.

Feels like the Seton Hall can afford to lose that one and still be in, but SJU likely needs to win that game to get in.

Even though I don't think they're a worthy tournament team at this point, I think Virginia will get to ride the coattails of ACC bias/affiliation and get in. They are putrid to watch, however, and scoring under 50 in 4 of your last 5 games is flat out embarrassing (granted they won one, but still...).

I don't know if TCU, Oklahoma, Northwestern are locks. They all have 20 wins with Net rankings 38 and lower.
Virginia has 21 wins so should probably get a mention.

Virginia plays in the ACC. As a result of the ACC being bad relative to the other major leagues, you need more wins to get in.

Oklahoma and TCU both lost today so I hardly think they are locks
Northwestern rolled easily
Virginia is 3rd in the ACC and yeah, it's the ACC, but they deserve a mention if you are calling Clemson a lock
