You're telling me Bama and Gonzaga, just as examples, aren't locks already?
Gonzaga plays in the WCC. If they lose out, they are toast. Being a lock means being able to lose every game the rest of the year and get in.

Bama needs one more win IMO to become a lock. At 19 wins, I think they could lose out. 19-13 would get them in; 18-14 would not.

Any Big 12 team that gets to 18 wins is probably in.
Pac-12 teams on the other hand probably need to get to 21 wins (and in some cases 22 or 23).

UConn likely needs to get to 20 wins to get in. 20-12 with a first round BET loss will probably squeak us in; 19-13 with a first round loss with bounce us (similar to Xavier last year).

Probably. But they still have to win the games. I think if they go 6-3 and lose in the BET QFs, they will be fine.

5 more wins will get us in no matter what with out NET Ranking. Maybe even 4 as that would get us to 20 wins.

I think 20 gets us in, but not at the seed level we’d like obviously

I was referring to Creighton. I think we only need 4 more wins.

Yeah, that would mean we either won only 8-12 in Big east and won the BE Tourney game or 9-11 and lost the first BE Tourney game. Not ideal either way. We have to go 5-4 the rest of the big east season to finish .500. Probably looking at 5th place as our ceiling with a chance of 4th if we can beat Creighton on their court and win 6 games. Kind of depressing when you look at that way after our hot start.

We’re not beating Creighton at home. We need to take care of business when we wear white.
