Had 30 today in a 77-62 win over UNC. Averaging 11 and 7 for Miami while shooting 39% from 3.

Does anyone know why we didn't push for him? Seemed like there was always some sort of backstory no one was willing to talk about. Seems like he would've been a perfect Rodney replacement.

We already had Diarra and were going after Shittu. It was just overkill.

I remember everyone saying he wanted to play the point or at least that's how he envisioned himself. That about sealed it considering the guys we had. I agree, he would've fit in well with us.

This is correct. We wanted him in 2015, but he stayed in 2016. Huge miss by Ollie to not keep after him and take him in 2016.

Also not sure if this played a factor, but Jalen Adams and Bruce used to beef pretty hard in high school. They weren't much fans of each other and used to get into it on twitter.

And he did a pretty good job of it when their guard went out with 4 fouls. Good game today

Yeah and to his credit he is actually good in that role as a freshman. Definitely a score first PG, but his shooting and playmaking were better than advertised. He's the type of UConn "miss" that I whole heartedly root for.

He's a 2 and done with big upside.
