Wow congrats to RU. I assume she has to sit out a year? then be eligible next year? Seems like a nice get for your team!

Does this young lady have the inside and exclusive scoop about who will be the RU Prez, the RU AD, or the WCBB Coach after she sits for a year? If so, she should call Mike Lupica or Chris Christie.

Yes she will have to sit out for a year. She is supposed to be a good 3 point shooter, which is something we desperately need.

Finally a three point shooter. What we have been missing for years. Sucks we won't have her for this upcoming season though.

But what's the deal with GT?

Well, she's off to Rutgers. Good bye three point shooting skillz.

Exactly. Anyone can wish her ill all they want, but BeKnighted among other stats types has consistently shown on the RU board that 3 point shooting has not - over the years - been an issue. We have had teams that certainly lacked a 3 point shooter, and we have had ok 3 point shooters that seemed to think jacking up a 3 was a good idea even when it wasn't in the flow of the offense, but over the years we have had some good 3 point shooters both in quantity and percentage.

The #2 - #8 career 3 point leaders are all from the CVS era behind Carolyn DeRoose the all time leader, and #10 Liz Hanson, who played one season under Viv.

Likewise, 8 of 10 career 3 point % leaders are from the CVS era - Pondexter, Prince, Ray, Jett, Stewart, Young, Horton and Wheeler.
