Kid is all heart. He's miles ahead of where I think any of us thought he could be at this point in his UConn career.

Remember when he got on the floor like the first or second possession today and forced a jump ball? Just an awesome, give-it-your-all play. He does that all the time, too, he's always the first to dive after a loose ball. And when he blocks shots, he makes an effort to block it in a way that gives us possession.

He's gonna be special if he keeps up the hard work.

He was the only one playing today who looked like he wasn't playing with two flat tires. I agree the kid is all heart and has an infectious personality. He's new to the game so we are witnessing all of the growing pains but one thing he always brings is energy, he's going to be a stud.

I loved the shot of the sideline today where Ollie was the focus... with Brimah in the background, yelling out to teammates on the court... the rest of the team on the bench was just sitting there. Brimah seems like a great communicator. That's something you can't teach. I didn't like when I saw Ollie talking to the guys on the bench with Samuel not even looking at Ollie while sitting in front of Ollie.

The one good memory I'll have of this game was that block that sounded like a sonic boom.

While i agree it looked like most of our squad was lifeless, I have to disagree with this only because Boat was playing with all heart in both halves. He was trying to will our team back into the game. Unfortunately nothing was dropping and it just seemed like nothing went our way.

Early in the season those we're going into the stands. More of his blocks are turning into fast breaks for us now.

He picked up two stupid fouls. The first one setting a pick. Him and Nolan are always getting called for illegal picks by moving their legs into the D players. They need to smarten up. Also I hope he spent the summer on getting stronger. Very weak legs and hands. Both him and DD are way too weak to play at the next level. Hopefully that changes before next year.

Rebounding. If you are not getting at least 8/40 mins at the 5, then you aren't doing your job. I don't care how many shots you block.

Brimah needs to play more minutes, despite the fouls. We could have used him for additional minutes yesterday - he finished with 3 fouls.
