She has definitely been our most aggressive player in transition all year long - love that.

And you're right: her pullup J has been pretty good lately...I know that she's a gym rat, so hopefully she spends a little time working on her longer shots this week once the BE tournament is over. Her 3-ball looks really flat lately, with not very much touch at all. She can do better!! I know her delivery is naturally somewhat flatter than Kaleena's--and that's not going to change--but her long shots really have to get a little softer, more like her short[er] jumpers.

Her shot last night was as flat as I've ever seen by a UConn player. It's tough to get the ball to go in when your ball trajectory is near perpendicular to the rim.

Again tonight Bria will be a key player for us. She seemed much more like the Bria we know against SJU.
If she continues her upswing we will win tonight.

absolutelt agree. she seemed to have some of her bounce back last night. she is the only one who can penetrate a tough defense, and they'll certainly see that tonight.

Don't forget how well Tiff penetrated the ND defense the first half of the second ND game!!!!

We need everyone to be aggressive and play well.

A repeat performance would be great, but I'm sure LMM is preparing them for Tiff.

how was it tonight lol

It was exactly the way it has been! Only better! lol

Her 3-ball is still off, with not enough touch. And her mid-range J is MONEY !!!! :D I heard that somewhere. (P.S. See "Two New Rules for UCONN" hehe)

Chris Dailey talked about Bria's pull-up on her post-game show. She said her shot was flat and they told Bria to get under the ball.

I love Bria's pull-up jumper. Reminds me of Sue Bird's who I believe has the best pull-up in the women's game.

Bria's shot, including her foul shots have always had a somewhat flat trajectory, she'll be fine

Actually Sue's shot was flat too, at least the one sent around here a few days ago. I was really surprised at it.

Much of the time, her midrange shots are not flat at all, especially lately. Still a few flattish ones in there when she pulls up at speed, but when she dribbles to a spot they have a pretty nice arc under them.

Her 3-ball OTOH is very flat as always, and she has lost some touch on it as well. Hopefully she will rectify that during the layoff before the tourney. But her midrange shots are really awesome lately. So huge.

and her fastbreak dribble down the throat of the defender is awesome even if she misses... the effort to stick the dagger is always there.

gotta love it

If it had been fine then CD wouldn't have said anything......
it worked well enough all season... of course coaches want them to make EVERY shots so they'll bitch & moan a lil about anything.

I bet it wasnt a part of bigger plan to beat ND
