Summary:

• Western members making strong push to get BYU
• All up to BYU, does not know if BYU is interested. Says Big 12 preferred Louisville and even Cincinatti over BYU. There is no rush for BYU to join a conference. They will probably hang tight and hope that Big 12 goes to 12 and picks them.
• Thinks that BE will be an AQ conference next cycle in 2014. Others disagree. Says it would be the 6th best conference.
• Boise State and Air Force other sports. Only thing he was told that could possibly be a hold up would be the olympic sports. Boise had not found a home for them as of yesterday. Boise State's olympic sports are not strong enough to be in a BCS league.
• Basketball expansion. Not going to see Memphis or Xavier or any other stand alone basketball add. Any expansion even in the next year will be one that has a football program. Knows Rick Pitino lobbying, but doesn't see it happening. All revolves around football and doesn't matter how bad a team's basketball program is for deciding entry.
• Entry fee is $2.5 million, paid out over 5 year period. The fee is taken out $500,000 yearly from tv revenue.
• Did not speak about any expected losses. Question was not asked, nor volunteered. Nothing about WVU/exit.
