If Ossining wins their next game (regional final – opponent still to be determined) and Cicero-N. Syracuse beats Colonie in their next game (regional final), then Breanna will play against Saniya in the NY State semi–finals.

Hey, Geno is running out of time to see Saniya. I think his only chance might be her next game.

I think Saniya’s next game (NYS regional final at Pace University) on Friday 3/9 might be the perfect opportunity for Geno to watch her play. The UConn women play ND tonight and then don’t play again till the start of the NCAA tournament (March 17th / 18th).

If Ossining wins their regional final they’ll likely play Beanna’s team (Cicero N. Syracuse) on Friday, March 16th in the NY State Class AA high school girls semi-finals (finals on Saturday, March 17th). I’m sure Geno would LOVE to see that game, but his team will open play in the NCAA’s on either 3/17 or 3/18 and he may not want to pull himself away from the UConn team’s preparation.

Speaking of Ossining vs Cicero, if it comes to that, it should be a very interesting game. Ossining is ranked 1st and Cicero is ranked 2nd in Class AA NY State girls high school basketball (LINK – scroll down when you get to the web site). I’ve never seen Cicero play, but having the #1 HS player in the country on your team can’t be all bad. Ossining will have their hands full with Breanna, to say the least.

I’ve seen Ossining play 6 times…….Cicero will have their hands full with Saniya too! Ossining is very fast, very athletic and plays at a frenetic pace. They shoot 3’s very well and they’re well coached. It should be a great game! Hope they both win their next games so they get to play one another.

Time thanks for all of the ongoing info on Ossining,Saniya and how Cicero/Breanna is likely to be playing Saniya! I can make logic for going to either game. The ist game gives him more time before NCAA tourn begins and it is closer at Pace. Going to the 2nd game allows him to see both Breanna and Saniya in one game! I had asked if you had inf re Saniya's level of interest towards Conn. I know she is supposed to go to Conn during a practice. I have heard her interest in us is VERY HIGH! Ira
