He seems to be giving the eyes just at his son’s performance and compliments, not that Hurley is losing it. Just my take though.

The other area of the game in which Mullins is a true standout is on the defensive end. He's quick laterally, very active with his hands (1.4 steals per game), and competitive with a scrappy mentality. He's also not afraid to stick his nose into traffic and pull-out some rebounds, on both ends of the floor (3.6 rebounds per game).

it is starting to concern me that Hurleys system isnt built for too many one and dones. This system benefits from experienced players.

It’s built for one and dones if that one and done has the talent and skills to fit into the gameplan. A one and done just went top 5 in the NBA draft after being the BE FOY and starting G/F of the 37-3 national champions. A sophomore (who could have went NBA after freshman year if he wanted) went top 10
Braylon can shoot, and seemingly can defend and rebound at the G/F position. Those skills fit perfectly, and we will have experienced players surrounding the freshman class (senior Mahaney/Reed, junior Solo/Stewart/Ross)
