Man.. How sweet would it be to beat our old friend Nova in the round of 32, followed by Pitt and Cuse in the sweet 16 and elite 8 at the garden. Am I allowed to dream??

Not leaving the state of NY until the final four is definitely desirable in my opinion.

If it came to that, wouldn't it be hilarious if our EE opponent was vs. UMass instead of 'Scuse?
I'm only 22 years old so I wouldn't cherish it as much as a cuse/uconn elite 8. But I know a lot of older guys on here would definitely agree with you!

Mike I think the point is that means 'cuse is already out which would be an amusing end for the Team Tee-shirt.

Well there's that - that "NYC's Team" didn't even make it to NYC. And that the true hoops powers in the Northeast are on a short stretch off I-91. And I'd like the UMass rivalry to start up again now that they're trending decent. We're gonna need all the RPI help we can get going forward.

The chances of the selection committee pairing us up with an old rival are 100%. If the season ended today they could give us St Johns in round one.

How in the love of Christ does Lunardi have UCLA as a 5 seed over us.

Isn't that in part, though, that the BE was so damn big that there are a ton of rivals for us to pair up against?

Syracuse, Villanova, Pitt...perhaps PC, Georgetown, St. John's...they're all in different conferences now, so it's a lot easier to be matched up with them earlier.

Sure, It will make it easy for the committee to do and it's doubtful they would pass on the opportunity.

Wow....so Syracuse continues its travel schedule even in the NCAA tourney....

I really don't think there's much difference between being a five or six, you're trading a slightly harder first and second round game for a slightly easier semi-final game. Just as long as we stay off the 7 and 8 line, we have a shot.

The Atlantic 10 predicted with 6 bids? DAMNNNN. More bids than ACC, Big East, American. No way

2 weeks ago; lunardi had 6-11; uconn vs PC. No doubt the committee will try to get the old BE teams in each others way
