Kentucky replaces Vanderbilt in the top 16. Minimal shifts elsewhere. UConn still #2.

Big Ten - 13, SEC - 10, ACC - 9, Big 12 - 7, Big East - 2, Atlantic 10 - 2

I can't understand why CC has UNLV as the first one out considering that they are 3-0 same as both New Mexico and CSU. UNLV has the higher SOS of the three and has better wins.

1/7 corrects an error in the 1/3 bracket -- can't have Duke & GaTech as top-4 seeds in the same region

also: nice that 6 of the 8 teams in Spokane are west of the Mississippi while 7/8 in Birmingham are east of the MS

They must have to change that now that top 4 conferences are just overloaded with all the best teams. With conference realignment, there is no way to avoid that. Has the NCAA made an announcement on that?

You can put more than 1 in the same region if-and-only-if that conference has more than 4 teams in the top 16. That has always been the case, and will continue.

It does give the committee less flexibility

This would not be the first time that more than 4 teams from the same conference are seeded 4 or higher.

The rule was that the first 4 teams selected from a conference have to be in separate regions if they're in the top 4 seed lines (and I've seen no announcement on a change in this regard). The 5th team selected would (obviously) then go in into a regional with one of the top 4 teams from its conference.

I do think he still has an error in having Oklahoma in the same regional as Texas. By his projection, OU as a 3 seed would be the 4th team selected from the SEC, and therefore should not be in the same regional as SC, Texas or LSU.

#3 seed works for me. Avoids a #1 seed in the Sweet Sixteen. #2 or #3 is the same, you play each other.
