The Big Ten and SEC have too many "picks." There should be a rule that no conference gets more than half plus one of its members in the tournament, Big 10 should be limited to 9+1=10. SEC 8+1=9. Teams that finish in the bottom half of their conference don't deserve a bid over, let's say, a mid-major who wins the regular season but loses a game in the conference tournament

I think 8 for the ACC is too many, too. They're having a down year and I don't think there are 8 teams worthy of the dance.

I'm old enough to remember 32 team BB tournaments. 1974- Univ of MD was 4th ranked with an incredible lineup and they didn't even get in. Other side of the story.
I think there needs to be clear criteria regarding teams getting in. Do they legislate a playoff with the most competitive games or a system that rewards smaller programs to get a chance of a lifetime. i vote the later.

There will always be controversy regarding teams selected and left out. For comparison, look at any of the college day sports programs to hear the commentators talk about the College Football Playoff with a 12-team tournament that features the five highest ranked conference champions and seven at-large teams selected by committee. The top four seeds get a first-round bye, while seeds 5-12 play in the first round at the higher seeds' home fields. The main controversy for this year's CFP was leaving out Notre Dame. Again, there is no perfect selection process whether football, basketball or any sport and there will always be some controversy. In the meantime, Sportsbook and the Las Vegas odds makers are hard at work.

I'm thinking they will still stay in the top 25. It was definitely a high paced game and they had some good spurts however intermittent. A lot too much individual play (Jones) and no use of a zone which is on the coach (Lindsey). Perhaps we will see them again in the tournament... they have potential and I expect more to come.

Just clarifying I meant top 16 teams in bracketology.

We were 30 points better than them 1. on their home court 2. with an obviously sick star -Sarah 3. an under performing K9 and 4. an improving frosh- Blanca. I'd love to draw them in the NCAA.
