Box and one

I just saw the OU replay today and noticed something I don’t remember ever seeing from UConn: a box and one defense.

Many times Geno has someone deny an opposing scorer but the remaining UConn players are playing one on one. Midway during the 4th quarter at OU, he had a box and one set up and the Sooners broke down completely on offense.

Anyone else remember this defense being used before?

Geno typically used a box and one against both Jewel Loyd and Courtney Williams.
