Bowlgame OT: Tulane vs. ULL on ESPN

Tulane was getting blown out of the water 21-0 against UL-Lafayette. However, they've stormed back to make it 21-14 at halftime. A pretty enjoyable game so far, for those that have enough morbid curiosity to watch future AAC conference mates. The announcers are even talking about Tulane's new stadium plans in a positive light.

For as much trash as I talked about the Tulane acquisition, I'm happy to see that they are putting together some amount of success and I hope they win this game in the Superdome...

What a shame; the kicker was a Groza Award winner, and he'll probably be remembered by missing the tying kick by about 5 feet to the left. Tough loss for Tulane...

Amazing. A game in New Orleans between two Louisian teams may end up drawing more fans than a bcs game. The tulane coach butchered the clock management late.

Never liked us mocking Tulane. Great school, cool location, historic campus and former member of the SEC still located in a great recruiting area. Can they be LSU? Hell no. Can they be good? Hell yes, and it would probably be easier for them than UConn in many ways, though the ceiling is higher for UConn.
