"They're going to check into their rooms and we're going to have a team meeting with the bowl officials, the local police department, dos and don'ts, proper places to be, places you shouldn't be, normal bowl banter, then some free time for the guys and we'll get to practice [Monday]," Diaco said.

The Huskies will be practicing at Calvary Christian High in Clearwater all week.<<

Wow. I remember getting on/off a plane without a jet bridge 35 years ago. It looks so 1960's. Are the Beatles in there?

The last time I was at Heathrow we were shuttled to a location where we boarded the plane via stairs. And that was a transatlantic flight.

My last time on portable stairs was flying in and out of Peoria, Illinois in the early 1980's.

When you fly JetBlue in and out of Long Beach you use the ramps. In fact they board the plane from the front and the back at the same time.

Had first taste of Johnny Blue this weekend. Super smooth but I regret that it was probably lost on me as I'm not a big scotch fan. Tequila however, is heavenly.

Marshall and UConn will each send representatives to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg for a visit at about 2 p.m. There also is a "Fill the Bowl" competition, when the teams will go against each other stuffing as many bags for Feeding America as they can. That event is being held at the Huskies' team hotel, the Vinoy Renaissance in St. Petersburg.<<
