Borzello’s 2022 class rankings

Dropped to 20. Other kids committed who were previously uncommitted & Corey showed up a year earlier & isn’t in this class anymore.
ESPN is really high on Karaban, more than other recruiting sites.
That’s our portion

They have UConn at #20 with just a 2 man class. For reference we are #26 on 247.

Nova (#14) and Xavier (#24) in the ESPN list. #9 and #24 on the 247 ranking, respectively.

"The Huskies have reasserted themselves as one of the preeminent recruiting powers in the Northeast since Dan Hurley took the reigns. They've successfully recruited the tri-state area down through Philadelphia and into the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). This year, they've asserted their dominance in their own backyard, solidifying commitments from the two best local prospects in New England: Karaban and Donovan Clingan. Karaban is an ultra-efficient forward who is a versatile scorer but will provide UConn with the type of frontcourt facilitator it hasn't yet had under Hurley. Clingan is the most dominant prospect to come out of Connecticut high school basketball in the past 15 years with game-changing size, soft touch and passing acumen of his own."

Thought that was an interesting nugget on Clingan. Either the author forgot about Drummond (very possible, ESPN writers are pretty terrible) or he is saying that Clingan is better/more developed at this stage in his career.

Would we be top 10 if Floyd was included? Maybe just outside like 11 or 12?

Don't know how much it's changed for other teams since August which is when I took this screenshot, but we peaked at #3
