I hate that newcomer of the year crap. If that "newcomer vs freshman" nonsense screws Karaban out of his rightful FOY award I'm gonna be pissed. He earned it over Whitmore.

Hopefully voters just follow Borges' lead and vote Hopkins and Boum their 1st team honors and leave the newcomer award to the best frosh

Thinking how scary a starting five of Kolek, Boum, Hawkins, Hopkins and Sanogo would be.

Where do you suppose that ranks against other current all conference teams? Probably stacks up pretty well I would guess.

And since we have hours until game time and I’m not that guy who is up at 1 am watching St. Mary’s v Gonzaga, I’ll throw it out there …

How would Borges’ All Big East team do if matched against other current all conference teams ?
