Brought a pair of white sneakers a couple of months ago and now they are grey turning brown. I just can't wear white sneaks anywhere even though they are comfortable as hell. I only wear them once or twice a week.

They are white mesh canvas sneakers and I don't know the best method to clean them. Youtube is all over the place but I trust the Yard. They are practically new and I want to keep wearing them just not dirty looking. I wonder if there is a 'do's and don't' for white sneakers I overlooked.

How the hell do you keep your white sneakers clean and how often do you clean them?

I use jason mark shoe cleaner, and you can put them in the laundry on cold cycle if theyre really bad (air dry). For mesh dont use a thick/rough bristle brush, use soft.

This is a stupid but correct answer: You gotta try not to get them dirty if you're going for crispy white.

If you're wearing canvas or that type of material, there is basically no way to keep them as clean as you'd like. If they're leather and good quality, they're a little easier to clean but even when you do there's a bit of a difference in new and cleaned up.

I have a million pairs of shoes, a lot of them are white. I try to stick to leather, but the reality is there's a few pairs that just get a bit dirty regardless of what you do.

Only white pair I have out of my 50 dunk sbs are the anti hero highs that recently came out. I use grandmas secret sneaker cleaner and a brush to clean all my sneakers. It works great for me. You don’t need to buy a shoe brush if you have an old electric toothbrush head, that works great too. I use an eraser and soft brushes for anything suede. I think grandmas and a stiff brush would work well with canvas but I typically don’t clean my chucks. - you can buy it off Amazon

This stuff works.

I’ve heard good things. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet because I have a ton of my current cleaner left. I might try it now with a boneyard endorsement

I found this a couple years ago and it is fantastic. I have removed wine stains on nubuck and leather with ease. Also was able to clean 12 year old Medusa SB Dunks, albeit they were not worn often, and they look brand new again.

I have been passively looking on EBay for team issued Nikes but they’d go in a glass case in my basement for display. Unfortunately any pair I’ve liked have been $400-500 and my wife would shoot me if I paid that much for a pair of sneakers to not wear. Lol
