Boneyard Anniversary Question

I joined this forum in 1998 and it had already existed a couple of years prior. It was a simple message board almost bulletin board type back then.

Isn't a 20 year anniversary nearing, even though its gone through some changes over this span? If so will anything be planned, like a donation of sorts commemerating this milestone? I'm willing to celebrate/contribute when it happens, as this place has been my lifestyle.

Or does all the spin offs, and renaming, etc,. invalidate the anniversary time period?

THats the Boneyard correct because I think there were iterations of UCONN basketball forums going back earlier than that

It wasn't the boneyard until it was the boneyard. There were several sites before the 'yard. Hartford Courant (vent?), and a couple others.

In November 1998 I was checking out McD's site and there was a clear link to the Boneyard. So it existed at that point.

BAsed on a recent "How Did You Find The Yard" thread...yep. The link was in the Chat Room group and I had never done chat rooms...outside of my square dancing fan pages...and decided to click that link.
