I see her as a ND or L'ville kid. Seems like she'd be a good fit for those programs. That's assuming she doesn't choose UCONN...

"Final 7" is sort of an oxymoron. How long was the list before the trimming began?

That's an impressive list. I hope she didn't get discouraged when we got Lou. I like what I've seen of Erin on video.

So there are 7 favorites.........and she can only take 5 Officials. So the question is : Which 2 schools get tossed out at the next cut-down ?

Erin Boley came for her 2nd visit, on her on dime May 5th this year. This was purely an academic visit.
Her mother said Erin met with academic counselors, and Professors. Erin said it was a great visit. Do recruits usually make academic visits, especially on their on dime.

Sounds pretty serious to me. I hope so ! I would love to have her. She is another versatile athlete, the kind Geno loves.

A couple of recruits who visited UConn unofficially (at their expense from Georgia and Texas) were Maya Moore and Moriah Jefferson.

More recently, Gorecki and Jekot visited unofficially. Gorecki then committed to Duke.

Butler may have visited unofficially, too.

It's usually a good sign, but no guarantees.

Would love to have her as she seems (from the videos) like a very good player. I wonder if she is concerned about playing time with the 2015 verbals being forwards.

If she has talent , and we all know she does , playing time will come her way. she has to be willing to play hard when out there , and be willing to be a team first player.

I have always been baffled about players not going somewhere because of PT. They should use as an
incentive to get better. If they want to eventually get to the WNBA there is no better school than
UCONN. If they want to win Nat Championships there is no better place than UCONN.

I really admire Kiah Stokes. She came in highly rated, but just could not get out of Geno's dog
house. She sat on the bench, bided her time and got better. Now she is set to become one of UCONN's
stars. I will even bet she is a 1st round pick in the WNBA next year.

Stokes' situation is different in that once Dolson graduated Stokes became the lone interior player available save for the rehabbing Tuck. With the collection of talent UConn is stockpiling PT could absolutely be an issue for incoming recruits. Lots of players want to come to Storrs, but not to sit on the bench in Storrs.

.

If there are people who are more talented than you and who work as hard as you do, you are going to sit. Period. How many UConn players are in the WNBA? a dozen maybe...most UConn players don't make it there.
Not that easy, not that simple.

I think that's easy for us to think and say but for a teenager whose entire existence has been centered around playing basketball (and being a star, not just a starter), pondering 2-3 years of warming the bench may be a bit much.
