How do they do it? All California kids that couldn't get into USC?

Great game. New Big East on the road vs a top level B1G team. This would be huge for our conference.

just imagine if unlv beat minn instead of going down in 3ots last night. the b10 would be up in flames before the bama-mich game even begins lol.

Boise pulling off this win and then going 11-1 or 12-0 would be outstanding for the Big East. With Kellen Moore winning this game would seemingly guarantee a 12-0 season but who knows how things will shake out with a new QB. Gotta focus on this one first though.

BSU is certainly an entertaining little team. Much more fun to root for than say, Mich St, Mich or Clemson. Fun teams to root for: WVA, VT, Miami, Boise State. Maybe USC. Who else?

BTW this is part of the benefit of being in a larger conference. We have a rooting interest in more games..and look at all the extra fans Boise has tonight that they did not previously have. All New Big East fans are pulling for them. Go Big Conference!

Any of the service academies... Always root for them to win (except against us).

I've always like rooting for BYU. Hope they come to the Big East.

It was a good effort by Boise State. Sketchy timeout that sure looked after the whistle to stop Boise on 4th and 2.

Boise has like 8 starters back. Imagine what Michigan State would do to UConn if we only had 8 starters back?

Boise pretty much got throttled, Michigan State just kept handing them the ball in key situations. They outgained Boise 461-206.

LOL. That is the kind of analysis that is most appreciated here. Boise was winning until about 8 minutes left in the game, and they were a home field whistle away from being inside MSU's 40 with a shot to win in the last 4 minutes.

Yes, the score was close. The quality if play was not. I know that's hard for someone like you to wrap your head around. The game was close because Michigan State turned the ball over for no reason a number of times.

Have to agree. MSU has some serious athletes, especially the RB. Boise is scrappy and has a gem of a head coach. They use a lot of gimmicks to stay in the game. In previous seasons, Boise had a higher level of talent. Not this season.

The fact that Boise was winning was deceptive considering one of their TDs came on an interception. Nothing wrong with that but it cannot be overlooked that the offense was atrocious. They could not run the ball at all. Harper is a good back from last year so I attribute this to Sparty's defensive front dominating.

Last year's BSU would have dropped 400+ yards on MSU. It's going to be a long year as they try to figure things out post Moore.
