BG is pretty much the protoype for guys who get paid then stop performing, which is about the last thing I would've expected from someone like BG who had a rep as a tireless worker. "Humble yourself" is pretty bad, can't see anyway he stays there after that.

Once you get millions and your skill level peaks some athletes get complacent. He knows he's rich and will never be a superstar so maybe he's just not as motivated anymore.

It's pretty unfortunate he's acting this way. Looks like he's trying to get traded hard. It's really too bad he ended up butting heads with the Bulls front office over the contract negotiations, because that really was a perfect situation for him. He was a well respected scorer, but after Detroit and Charlotte he's turned into a platoon guy with an inflated contract (and maybe a bit of a bruised ego).
