On the UConnhuskies.com blog they are posting bios of the signees as the LOIs come in. I thought it was interesting to find out the Bobby Puyol is the son of former major leaguer Frank Torre and nephew of Joe Torre. There is a great picture of Bobby with his bio. He looks like a confident kid!

Incorrect, but that would be news to Frank Torre. Instead, the UConn profile states Puyol "... .also plays baseball...(his) high school baseball coach was Frank Torre, Jr....(a) son of former major leaguer Frank Torre and nephew of legendary Joe Torre".
