Met up with Ryan today at the D-League game, here in Austin.
Boatright's team ( Detroit drivers ) played Austin Spurs
Boat had a decent game 11 pts probably 5-8 assists.
turned his ankle late in the game but still returned
Maybe because the game was played at an unusual time 11:00am, he seemed tp play without his typical energy
I asked him if he thought he'd be back up soon, he said, yes, he only needed to play a couple of games down here.

I told him, good luck and get back up there to re-unite with Andre

Thanks for that update. I watched the game, all the D-League games are live streamed (and archived) on Youtube. I thought Ryan looked a little disinterested at first and you can't blame him. The mid-day game was a promotion and the stands were filled with grammar school kids. It sounded like a Justin Beiber concert. The Drive looked bad, nobody could hit a shot, and once Ryan passed the ball it was never coming back to him. Lots of one-on-one ball hogging, no offensive sets. It showed on Ryan's frustrated body language.

He made a few nice shots and plays, really pretty drive to the reverse side of the rim. I'm pretty sure he scored 14 points --that's what the play-by-play guys said and the box score is wildly inaccurate.

Wow, with a pic....... Chief, this is how it's done;)

My favorite husky of all time. Nothing I want more than to see him play in the NBA.

This. Is. Amazing.
Full disclosure, this was tweeted right after Ryan signed with the Pistons. Sorry folks, he's still in the D-League.

Yeah, I didn't think it was from yesterday. It's still amazing, obviously.

Way to support the alumni!

I'm amazed Chief is still around here, lesser men would have tucked tail and ran away a long time ago after being shamed and outed as a fraud.

Twitter is the bane of Chief's existence.
A tweet doesn't make you close - they were not when at UConn. Of the players Andre was friendly with Daniels and Alex believe it or not.

The brilliance of chief lies in the fact that he wrote something that had nothing to do with the post he was responding to, and then proceeded to draw conclusions based on information that was presumably passed down to him second hand.

He's so eager to solidify himself as an insider that it's endearing.

Don't be so hard on Chief, he's a good guy. Didn't you hear he was right there with Boatright at the food pantry? In fact, the whole thing was his idea.
