Thanks Choc. I will never forget the first time I saw Boat play in person. It was at the Pro Am in 2011. Boat was trying to guard the Beast who had him by 5" and 70 lbs. It was an impossible task, but Boat gave it his best shot.

Not a great week-end for Ryan in the D-League showcase with all 30 NBA teams scouting. In two games he went 5/21 including 0/6 from three. He did have 13 assists and only 1 turnover though. The biggest surprise was seeing Ryan Gomes suit up for the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

Boat got paid by the Nets, right? I mean, he's not living off the lunch money some of the D-League guys get.

The Nets could use him now. I was at the Celtics game against the Nets on 1/2 when Jarrett Jack went down with a knee injury and he's out the rest of the season. Shane Larkin is now the starter and he played the rest of the game. I was not impressed with Larkin. Good handle, terrible shot and looked totally overmatched. Donald Sloan is now Larkin's back up. I figured they'd at least want another PG on the 15 man roster but I haven't seen them sign anyone.

He got $75k from the Nets so he's in decent shape for a year or so.
