  1. Really wishing we had McNeeley for this one.
  2. Diarra started us off right, and Solo's shot was on!
  3. Diarra bunny over Kalkbrenner? Who'd a thunk it?
  4. Solo getting burnt on d way too often.
  5. Nice move by Mahaney getting it high off the glass to negate Kalkbrenner.
  6. Late in the first half it FELT LIKE we hadn't gotten ANY offensive boards at all. (Actually, we were credited with 2, but one of those was more recovering a loose ball after Karaban's 3 point attempt a minute into the game was blocked.)
  7. Creighton killing us with threes and boards.
  8. Diarra keeping us in this game in the first half.
  9. Wow a no contact foul on Stewart followed by a wtf call to wipe Diarra's long three off the board. Watching with the sound off, so I have zero clue what that whistle was about.
  10. They effectively took Solo out of the game after he made two quick threes early.
  11. Karaban missed all three of his shot attempts in the 1st half -- 2 layups and a three.
  12. Half a minute into the 2nd half, loose ball, Samson clearly gets control of it, ref calls it a jump ball and it goes to Creighton.
  13. Ball gets open for a money three!
  14. Karaban scores his first hoop after getting banged up, and ties the game.
  15. Don't see Diarra dunk the ball too often!
  16. Karaban having another off game didn't help, but biggest issues - other than the officiating - were probably McNeeley 's absence and our inability to defend Neal.
  17. Diarra and Solo did all they could. Everyone else was kind of metsa metsa.
  18. Not specifically about this game, but this season in general... our offense, which was a thing of beauty the last two years, particularly last season, is anything but, this season. All of those complex cuts and resultant open looks four plays out of five are things of the past.

Wasn't the offense rated the 4th best on kenpom before today's game? Without McNeeley the offense isn't as good.

Was fairly amazing how little we could get Solo open within 4 minutes. The kid is lights out and easily out best shooter when he gets a look but it does require a lot of action to get him there.

I hope Alex’s ankle will not be an issue.
Agree! Also hope the staff can teach Johnson to shoot other than a dunk or layup. He is completely ignored by opponents defense allowing him to dance wide open looking for a teammate to pass to. Which are being doubled with what would be his defender.
A half dozen times today he was left wide open inside on and just behind the foul line.

I thought they were the Creighton Barrels.

He can make a free throw 50% of the time so yes he should shoot that.

Samson does not even look to score when he has the ball and is undefended just above the free throw line. McDermott made a mockery of our offense today. Hurley needs an answer.
