- Really wishing we had McNeeley for this one.
- Diarra started us off right, and Solo's shot was on!
- Diarra bunny over Kalkbrenner? Who'd a thunk it?
- Solo getting burnt on d way too often.
- Nice move by Mahaney getting it high off the glass to negate Kalkbrenner.
- Late in the first half it FELT LIKE we hadn't gotten ANY offensive boards at all. (Actually, we were credited with 2, but one of those was more recovering a loose ball after Karaban's 3 point attempt a minute into the game was blocked.)
- Creighton killing us with threes and boards.
- Diarra keeping us in this game in the first half.
- Wow a no contact foul on Stewart followed by a wtf call to wipe Diarra's long three off the board. Watching with the sound off, so I have zero clue what that whistle was about.
- They effectively took Solo out of the game after he made two quick threes early.
- Karaban missed all three of his shot attempts in the 1st half -- 2 layups and a three.
- Half a minute into the 2nd half, loose ball, Samson clearly gets control of it, ref calls it a jump ball and it goes to Creighton.
- Ball gets open for a money three!
- Karaban scores his first hoop after getting banged up, and ties the game.
- Don't see Diarra dunk the ball too often!
- Karaban having another off game didn't help, but biggest issues - other than the officiating - were probably McNeeley 's absence and our inability to defend Neal.
- Diarra and Solo did all they could. Everyone else was kind of metsa metsa.
- Not specifically about this game, but this season in general... our offense, which was a thing of beauty the last two years, particularly last season, is anything but, this season. All of those complex cuts and resultant open looks four plays out of five are things of the past.
