  1. Clingan's first foul, he did foul kalkbrenner on the first attempt and it wasn't called. He did not foul him on the second attempt, but a foul was called.
  2. Held the lead for 11 minutes. 2 and a half minutes later, down by six.
  3. Kalkbrenner mauled Castle. No call. We're getting reffed to death, but Creighton is making shots like crazy.
  4. Horrible call on Hassan at 6:18.
  5. Karaban made a three on our third possession. Hasn't attempted one since. They have completely taken both him and Spencer out of their offense.
  6. We have 4 assists in the first half. FOUR.
  7. Second half, Spencer starting to assert himself. Mostly driving into the lane.
  8. Good Lord. Kalkbrenner tripped over his own feet, and somehow it's a foul on Clingan.
  9. Castle indecisive on the catch at 3:17. Traveled.
  10. 8 dimes for the game. EIGHT.
  11. Hopefully, we've gotten this crummy performance out of our system.

Worse. Cretins were 14-28 (42 points) and Huskies were 3-16 (9 points). Ball game.
The question is how were they that open on all of those 3’s? We were helping on rebounds and left them open?

All but 2 of Creightons 3s were open, so many blown assignments it was bizarre. Combined with totally shutting Cam down...

Some bad ref calls sure but we got a bunch too. That 2nd on Clingan though :(

He also had a strange shoulder-height reach-in near the top of the key in the opening minutes that seemed needlessly risky.

Coupled with the body non-call that bumped Johnson out of bounds in an opening sequence, I surmised that fouls like that were not going to be called during the game.

Those two made it all the more surprising when the 4 consecutive body-momentum fouls went against UConn as the the game then shifted into what we saw. Creighton's lights out shooting self-perpetuated the confidence and turned it into a game best used for emotional detachment and review purposes.

This is a very good in-game weigh-in.
