from a unc fan on the tob. we can fit in the acc or big without argument school wise. my musical chairs:
first round:
acc+cuse/pitt/uconn/ruty
pac+tex/tt/ok/okst
big+mizzu/kansas
sec+aTm
round 2:?
sec-3?
big-2? nd is 1 of them?
the acd at wvu/tcu/cincy/usf/lville are not truly great, they would hurt averages for every conf they went to. that will hurt them i think. wvu may be the only exception to the sec. i can easily see this happening.
sec needs 3 for 16. they + wvu to get to 14 but freeze there.
big10 gets nd(who sees the 4 team playoff coming) and takes ist to fill out 16. they stay on there midwest sawg for some reason. iowa really pushes for them.
now the pac/big/acc are all set and the sec has 14.
left out? -tcu/usf/lville/cincy/baylor
i think the sec takes a 2nd texas team to gain another huge mk in texas. possibly tcu for the mk. the 16th team will be a wild card imo and they end up with lville. uk is mad lol.
so now a 5th conf needs to be born, one that can challenge the 4 team playoff/bcs crap and be competitive both on the field, in the stands and in mk's.
End Result:
acc+cuse/pitt/uconn/ruty
pac+tex/tt/ok/okst
big+mizzu/kansas/nd/ist
sec+aTm/wvu/tcu/lville
