I stayed in the same hotel as the parents of NC State parents. At breakfast, on the morning after the game, I overheard one NC State parent saying his son told him their team knew what plays UCONN would play before it happened. Worse still, this parent was saying the NC State players were mouthing the plays to one another--but, UCONN still executed the plays even though UCONN players knew NC State already knew the plays. Is this possible? If so, why don't UCONN disguise their plays, or simply change the plays if they find the opposing teams is aware of what they plan to do?

That's how predictable the plays are...

This would explain why so many of our plays get blown up before they start. Maybe the the O-Line isn't that bad but the defense just already knew what was coming and what gaps to fill etc.

Having said that, who knows if any of that is true.

Who knows, but I doubt Wreh Wilson Sr. would lie...

I heard that we were tweeting the plays in to help support the UConn social media movement.

It sure looked like NC State was prepared for every play. Nobody was open on either running or passing plays. And there seemed to be no options for the team. They had to follow a script.

It was like watching Gallipoli, or the Charge of the Light Brigade.

Has the thought that this might not be Wreh Wilson Sr. crossed your mind at all? I'm just asking......
I am 99% sure it is not Elliot Wreh Wilson. I have talked to him and this doesn't seem like his style.

well, i see an element of plausability there, more in the fact that Deleone is the same guy that ran an offense against TOB at Syracuse.

maybe not completely true, but maybe that wallpaper has been re-used too often.

of course they knew the plays. all Deleone did was run up the middle. if they guessed run up the middle they'd have been right 2/3 of the time until the 4th quarter. any conspiracy theory about them having more concrete knowledge of our plays is probably bunk.

Courant.com the Monday Uconn football chat.... Ya'll more than welcome to see for yourselves!

Well, I guess you are right and it is what it is but I'm amazed that Blidi's dad doesn't know his own name. It's not Wreh Wilson Sr. It's Dr. Elliott Wreh-Wilson.

Some days I feel we're in Scandinavia... Trolls everywhere.

Well if its true I hope Blidi brings it up with the coach. We had a similar incident in 2010, Edsall got wind that people were watching practice from a building, he moved practice indoors and we went on a 5 game winning streak, we were 3-4 prior to this change. Maybe just a coincidence or maybe someone was filming our practice.

Yeah that was this guy. And they didn't lose a game afterwards until the Fiesta Bowl. No one was happier about that than me lol. The post that they moved all their practices indoors was inaccurate though. They practiced inside for a few days because the weather wasn't great but they practiced outside all the time after that.

To think someone for NC State may have filmed their practice isn't a ludicrous idea though. I doubt that's the case but it wouldn't be hard.
