I read Blanca's mom wanted her to be a model - but she preferred basketball at the time. Good for us.

She is presently unknown to the WBB world but, I believe that will change by the middle of next season. She may be the biggest, pleasant surprise of the season. I am anxious to see the entire 2025 class.

Never seen anything like this for a recruit! Really hope she's able to smoothly assimilate and contribute as expectations appear pretty high (at least from the UConn fan base). It would be nice if she can continue to stay off the national radar for a while even though she appears to be on the international radar. Very unusual!

Define what "a while" would be as I have a hard time seeing that happening once the season and non-conference schedule gets underway.

I was just thinking an organic process resulting from actually getting on the floor and playing/performing thus allowing her to ease into her new situation without undue pressure. If she scores 30 points with 20 rebounds in her first game then I suppose the organic process will only take 40 minutes of game time!

If you aren't averaging 25 the media is slow to see you. Next year UConn is again loaded with scoring talent so it's unlikely anyone in the media will look past Fudd and Strong.
Except all of us, of course.
