So far ( as of this link : http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/e...9/2012-black-monday-coaching-hot-seat-tracker ) 7 coaches canned in the NFL today...
With that said, anybody other than me think we should consider any of these guys (or any of their assistants who are also now unemployed) as a potential possibility to come into Storrs, CT and help build this program into respectability? Not saying our program is that bad, but right now, there are so many uncertainties.. We need stability more than anything... We need what any FBS level football program needs WITH BCS Bowl bid aspirations year in and year out... A coach who is/could be well respected in the FBS community nationally... Someone that is probably a little younger and could bring some more excitement to the program, the kind that is not afraid of change and not afraid of the social CT tight wads who like the 'same ole' lame way of doing things...someone that when a top tier recruit sees him not only thinks highly of him but can actually envision himself suiting up and going to war with him in National flag blue with the white block "C" on the helmet...
