Pretty sure most Maryland recruits went to ACC in years past. Also SEC and Notre Dame have done well in those states in the past.

Penn State has always loaded up on MD recruits, often skimming the top of the class. OSU has focused on recruiting the state in recent years as well because of its abundance of D1 talent. With UMD in The B1G this trend will continue.
