Monday night ESPN and SECN are dedicating major time, attention, and resources to the lead in and ultimate broadcasting of #1 UConn WBB @ #2 USCe WBB. Paul Finebaum will be broadcasting his show from the arena, and it is part of a big Monday lineup. Tipoff is 7pm on ESPN2. It is up against the following MBB games at the same time: #19 Louisville @ Duke on ESPN, Okie St @ TCU on ESPNU, St Johns @ Gtown on FS1. It will be pretty interesting to see the ratings comparisons, especially against the B12 matchup, that night. While CR is all about FB, the ratings that night could be a HUGE feather in UConn's cap as to the additional content and eyeballs we can bring, as well as talking heads like Finebaum experiencing first hand the excitement and energy UConn WBB can bring to away games. Even tho UConn has demonstrated this ability time and time again, given the timing of CR buzz and potential network negotiations, and a chance to open the eyes of a southern FB oriented yokel like Finebaum to the added value UConn brings as a total AD, this could be a nice night in adding to positive UConn talk

@Dooley, big chance to share w/ Finebaum your UConn cheat sheet.

Imagine the irony if we got into a conference based on our women's basketball viewership

The Hartford Courant noted today that the game is a sellout (SC WBB first) at the 18,000 seat Colonial Life Arena.

Dayum!!!

The SEC broadcasting is all about South Carolina on Monday. The bigger point is that UCONN causes a big event due to being #1 and who they are

That game will destroy the Big 12 game on ESPNU.
