Way to early to judge Brimah. But, to this point he certainly doesn't sound like a stiff.

all positive stuff. The team will win enough games in the regular season to get a really good seed in the NCAA tournament whether or not Brimah contributes consistently. The key is for either Brimah or Facey to progress enough during the regular season to be a factor in the big tournament.

I'm in the same age range. Unfortunately my memory of UConn players is a bit restricted as I was born elsewhere and moved to CT as a kid, in a family that doesn't really watch sports. Always wish I had more memory of the older players.

Not bad. I have a feeling he will be a little more advanced than Thabeet was his Freshman year. If thats the case. I dont think we have to worry about Wolf not being here

1. RAY RAY
2. Kemba
3. Khalid
4. BAZZ (believe it or not I love this kid and love that he stayed)

And Nolan. I've no idea who will start at the 5 - Olander, Facey, Brihah or Nolan.

Maybe I'm crazy for thinking this way, but I'm assuming Nolan is going to be solid throughout the year. Not huge numbers, but like 8 points and 6 rebounds per game in 25 minutes. I'm hoping one of the other two will step up and be able to contribute in a similar way come tournament time. Defensive contributions are more WAY more important than scoring. This team should average a ton of points if every runs on the fast break.

I think so too. But one of the exciting things about this team is, while I think we will be really good, and hopefully end the regular season in the top 10 (I think we have that potential), I have no idea what to expect from our front court (except for Daniels, who I think is really going to be terrific, consistent and solid all season long)...

Not a stiff, a project. UConn has had pretty good luck developing projects lately.
