Big East with a great idea

Who is more likely to win a NC in the future. A fake Big East school or an AAC school.
Come on dude, just stop, outside of you guys? Nobody. Tulane equal to Creighton though is beyond silly. Because of you the AAC is better than the BE, we get it, glad you are happy with it. You guys are the best program in the last 25 years, more that and less the AAC is better than the BE is in order. SMU>Villanova? What kind of drugs allows for that statement? SMU is ready for another severe penalty. Honestly, you are trolling your own board.

On a side note, Butler went to two straight finals so anything is possible.

UConn > Georgetown
SMU > Villanova
Memphis > Marquette
Cincy > Xavier
Temple > Butler
Houston > Providence ... Kelvin Sampson schools Ed Cooley
Tulane = Creighton?

The BE bottom is better then AAC but not "a lot better"

This board suffers from "jealous Ex" syndrome.

National Championships over the past 5 seasons:

UConn 2
Entire Big East 0

Checkmate.

Try and keep up, we are talking about conferences and it's already been firmly established that UConn is the best program in either conference by a lot.

Is that why you linger on our board? Because you realize that Providence is an average program at best?

I'm sorry, but the new Big East is nothing to get excited about. It consists of a bunch of decent teams with no real national contenders. I can't understand why you find that appealing.

You have a problem with me saying Tulane= Creighton but not Houston> Providence? LOL

I'll give you the Tulane as I meant to say Tulsa either way Tulane, Tulsa or Creighton are not games I would circle on a calendar. In fact outside of Villanova and Georgetown there's nobody in the BE that would I would be excited we play. Same with AAC however we're in the AAC so I'm going talk up the AAC. You don't like it I get it you can hit the red little box on the right top corner and go back to your board and create a post on how delusional "u convict" fans are for not giving a water down BE it's props.

This is cynical of me, but I'm going to relate this topic to recruiting. Maybe this is FriarJ's point. This could be a recruiting advantage for the fake Big East schools. Trips to NYC. Relationships with NBA players and various individuals with NBA backgrounds. I like it. Like FriarJ says, other conferences should be doing something similar. This sounds like something Calipari thought of. Nice work fake Big East. I have one small concern. This plan involves travel and introductions to NBA people. It sounds like a potential problem for NCAA officials. I'm sure the fake Big East will do things properly, but they better be careful to cover their bases.
While I understand why the East Catholic Conference would need to do this, well, isn't this something we're almost already doing? We've got one of the rare coaches to have a lasting NBA career, and the relationships bring guys like Drummond in to work out with our big men). I get that Drummond sponsored Enoch's AAU team, but still - the ability of the school to bring back serious NBA alumni to campus is pretty impressive.

As opposed to the AAC?

Assuming we don't get some kind of secondary violation for involving our athletes in this program, I don't think it would hurt. But you are right. We have a good core of x-players that are active in our summer activities and the program in general. It's probably not necessary. That said, I mentioned Calipari for a reason. A good portion of this is PR nonsense. Sorta like Calipari's "pro day" or whatever he called it. It might help recruiting.
