Big East Week 1, 2010 v. 2011

The BE is off to a nice start this year, especially compared to last year. Granted, last year we all played much better opposition, but it's still good to get off to a 7-0 (soon to be 8-0 - Let's Gooooo Ears) start with wins over 2 BCS schools and the jewel of The Patriot league .

In 2010 we opened 4-4 w/ us losing at Michigan, Pitt losing at Utah, Cinci losing at Fresno, and L'ville losing at Kentucky. All 4 wins were v. FCS or non BCS teams.

Week 2 provides a stiffer test as we go to Vandy, RU goes to UNC, and Cinci goes to Tennessee.

and with Wake losing to SU, Duke losing to Richmond and BC losing to Northwestern, ACC going to get a lot of the negative ESPN attention along of course with all this realignment discussion...

Rutgers +10.5

All 3 are a little strange. I would have expected UConn -5 or -6, Rutgers +8, Cincinnati +10
