WBB Notes 2.11 Update
Standings Shakeup
All four games on Wednesday had an impact on the BIG EAST women’s basketball standings as No. 22/22 DePaul became the lone team in second place with a win at St. John’s, Marquette climbed one to third place with a win over Butler, Providence swapped places with Creighton for sixth place with a victory over the Bluejays, and No. 2/1 UConn maintained its lead at the top while dropping Seton Hall down two slots to fourth with a win over the Pirates. After entering the night with four teams locked in two different ties, there are now no ties in the standings as we enter a four-game weekend. Thursday is quiet for all BIG EAST teams, while the UConn Huskies return to the court on Friday at Georgetown. Tipoff at McDonough Arena is set for 6 p.m. ET, and the game will air on CBS Sports Network. A Saturday triple-header on the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi available on FloSports sees Marquette at Providence, St. John's at Butler and Creighton at Seton Hall, all at 1 p.m. ET.
